Boom not bust in Scotland 19th July 2007
House prices in Scotland are continuing to rise despite the downturn or levelling off in some parts of the UK.
Assessing house price movements across the country, The Sunday Times recently reported: "Keep going north, though, and the pulse starts to quicken again: prices in Scotland are rising at an annual rate of 11.9 pecent and look likely to continue to do so." *
Lloyds TSB's chief economist Donald MacRae, said Scottish prices 'continue to be propelled by a favourable economic background and demand exceeding supply." Good news for investors.
Club La Costa's Duchally Country Estate development in Perthshire has left purchasers of its quality-built lodges smiling broadly. As well as seeing substantial rises in capital value, they were offered lucrative 6.5 pecent guaranteed rental return on their properties.
Club La Costa is planning further development, close to the world famous Gleneagles golf course. So others too could be toasting their investment prowess.
Among early bird investors with Club La Costa, some have already returned to buy a second and even third time, appreciating the ease and potential for fantastic returns.
